The Maragritas are great as well, they come in all kinds of great flavors made with fresh pureed fruit. I would get there as early as possible the bar is small and tends to get packed quickly.

The Lower Depths, 476 Commonwealth Ave, Boston, MA: $1 hotdogs all the time, with all kinds of fixings, for only $1 more!Approaching Kenmore Square before you get to BU and the Fenway Park area, the Lower Depths is, well, a bar below ground! Any day of the week at any time you can get a basic all-beef hot dog on a buttered toasted bun, replete with standard condiments. And if you're feeling extra flush, toppings (including, bacon, cheese, chili or jalepeno) are only $1.
Morton's Steakhouse, 699 Boylston at Exeter St.: $4 happy hour appetizers from 5 pm to 6 pm.www.mortons.comMorton's calls it the "Power Hour" and serves up some delicious sliders! In the bar only, of course (make sense to any one who's don't another kind of power hour in college).
P.S. I think the Boston Morton's is hard to find for anyone who's never been...there's no big sign outside. So google-map the address before you go!
Orleans Bar, 65 Holland St, Somerville, MA: The bar offers half-price appetizers from 4pm-7pm weekdays.www.orleansrestaurant.com/One disappointment, the appetizers are half size as well, it actually says this on the menu! We got the spring rolls, which really were small and few, but the quesadillas we shared were fantastic and the portion was just right.
Art Bar, 40 Edwin H Land Blvd, Cambridge: Happy Hour appetizer plates from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday are $5 dollars each.Also in the Royal Sonesta Hotel, the Art Bar is a very chic place to have $5 lobster sliders on their outdoor patio over looking the Charles! This would be a great place in the summer to start a big night out!

It's soooo much more than a hotel restaurant however! The views of the Charles from the tables in the dining room are awesome.

Sounds interesting, some one who's tasted these snacks from the Basque country please let us know how they go down!

Rialto is one of the most highly praised restaurants in the Boston area, I think it's great that they are making a foray into the world of happy hour food specials!
Grendel's Den, 89 Winthrop St Cambridge: The whole menu is half price before 7:30 Sunday through Thursday. Half-Price hours are from 5:00 pm til 7:30 pm every evening and from 9:00 pm til 11:30 pm Sunday - Thursday. You must purchase a minimum of $3 per person to qualify for half price food.www.grendelsden.com/All I have to say is, Grendel's is FANTASTIC! Get there as early as possible.
Bukowski's Tavern, 1281 Cambridge St: "Buck Burger" $1.69 on weekdays before 8pm. ** Cash only**I have never been to Bukowski's, though I have heard the burgers, however cheap, are great. I'd love for people to chime in.

The Cactus Club has great margaritas and nachos, what more can you ask for--really? The Flauta were also good. Get there early to get a bar stool though, the half-price menu is only served in the bar.
Sorriso Trattoria, 107 South St: $5 pizzas on Mondays from 5 to 9 p.m
www.sorrisoboston.comLocated close to South Station Sorriso Trattoria is a fantastic Italian restaurant. Not the type of place you'd expect to even have a happy hour type special, but on Monday nights they sell their fantastic, gourmet, pizzas for only five dollars!
The Living Room, 101 Atlantic Ave: half price appetizers, every Monday through Friday from 5 to 7 p.m.www.thelivingroomboston.comI have not visited the Living Room for happy hours bites, so anyone who has I would love your feedback. I have been there later in the evening for drinks and dancing and I can say this semi-swanky North End hangout gets pretty crowded on the weekends with 20-somethings looking to dance a little and get their drink on!
