87 Happy Hours and Counting!
Today 9/8/09 I have 87 Happy Hours listed!
Bina Osteria, 571 Washington St., Boston, MA: Tasting Tuesday, five cocktails for 15$ at 5:15 pm in the "b" lounge. http://binaboston.com/o-events.html
Sample 5 of the house cocktails for 15 dollars. Then visit the alimentari right after the tasting and receive 15% off the entire purchase (Valid same day only). Reservations recommended.
Bina also offers discounted Tickets to the Movie Theater on Tremont for $8 for all guests making a food or beverage purchase. Supplies are limited, call to reserve.

Rock Bottom Brewery, 115 Stuart St, Boston,: $2.99 / $3.99 / $4.99 Bar Menu Available Monday - Friday: 2:30 pm - 5:30 pmI enjoy the spicy spinach dip here, it's very cheesy as well as spicy...so prepare for queso overload. The dip is the best eaten with their ball park pretzels but, alas, the pretzels didn't make the cut for the cheap bar menu (c0nsider ordering them anyway). The nachos are also decent, but they charge $1.50 for chicken, guacamole and sour cream!
The only problem I have with the Rock Bottom specials is that the cut off time is 5:30 pm! Can't they at least extend it to 6 pm so we don't have to bolt out of work right at, or before, 5 pm just to get there? Then again, maybe people like that...
Estragon, 700 Harrison Ave, Boston, MA: $1 traditional pintxos in the bar Monday through Thursday, from 5:30pm.estragontapas.com/index.htmWikipedia says a pintxo is, "a small slice of bread upon which an ingredient or mixture of ingredients is put and held there using a stick, which gives the food its name." Sounds interesting, some one who's tasted these snacks from the Basque country please let us know how they go down!
